When something devastating happens to you, process it your way.
Do not dismiss your feelings or allow anyone to tempt you to move past your feelings.
It may help you feel better in the moment, but it does not work long-term.
It may help the other person, but that is not your concern.
If you are connected to your self, you are obliged to be your own advocate.
If you are not connected to your self, this is an opportunity to turn tragedy around and begin the steps to go inward, find your true self, know your true self, and establish what is right for you.
If you have a friend who has the tenacity to listen, share.
If you don’t, maybe a professional is appropriate.
If neither of these is possible, there are resources.
Do your homework to find the path that aligns with your values.
Prayer, too, is vital to sustain your spirit.
You can’t go around something or over something or under something.
You have to go through something to be able to emerge on the other side.
